Pediatric Travel Nurse RN Assignment in Kansas City, MO

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Travel Nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Kansas City, MO. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients while exploring a new city.
Job Summary:This travel nursing job is with Children's Mercy Hospital, a leading pediatric healthcare provider in the region. As a Pediatric Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the hospital's mission of providing compassionate and family-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines
To be considered for this Pediatric Travel Nurse RN position, you must have:
- A current RN license in the state of Missouri
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a critical care setting
- BLS certification, ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
