Key Responsibilities
As a Float Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and overseeing nursing care services and health education for nursing home residents.
- Supervise the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and other team members.
- Administer safe and precise medication-related interventions to residents.
- Evaluate the health status of residents and inform the physician of any changes. Implement new orders promptly.
- Select and apply appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize residents' conditions and prevent complications.
- Contribute to residents' assessments (MDS/CAA's) and assist in developing individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the relevant state.
- CPR certification is required.
