Key Responsibilities- Assist in both clinical and administrative tasks to enhance patient care.
- Welcome patients, guide them to examination rooms, and perform necessary vital checks.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of medical practices and patient care relevant to the pulmonary specialty.
- Follow established protocols and regulations to maintain compliance and ensure patient safety.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with medical equipment such as EKG machines, nebulizers, and other essential tools.
- Proficient in using office equipment and medical software.
- Current BLS certification; additional training in venipuncture may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Cross-training in various clinical areas such as Ob/Gyn, Neurology, and Pediatrics.
