Deskside Technician II

Epsilon is seeking a skilled Deskside Technician II to join our team in Lanham, MD. As a key member of our IT support team, you will provide technical assistance and support for the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) employees, ensuring seamless operation of their IT systems and infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems and other standard business applications on laptops and desktops.
• Provide support for deskside incident management, including repairs, maintenance, and resolution of technical problems with IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assigned trouble tickets, providing timely updates in the ticketing system.
• Distribute peripheral IT equipment and supplies, such as network printer toner.
• Support the maintenance of local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) components.
• Provide on-site support for delivery of new systems and supplemental support for remote delivery.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Deskside Technician or similar position.
• Experience with imaging Windows devices, installation and configuration of Windows 10 devices, software installation and updates, MS Office 365 troubleshooting, Active Directory, and Help Desk Ticketing Systems (ServiceNow).
• Ability to pass federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust.
• Local/regional travel may be required.

Prolonged periods of computer desk work, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other computer components, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
