Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance functions in multiple areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating/ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration, and welding.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of facilities and equipment to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, and students, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Assist with snow removal and other seasonal tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least two of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating/ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration, and welding.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
