Area Supervisor Job Description

Ross Dress for Less is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Area Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of retail associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
  • Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
