About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Duke University Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to patients in the Neuro ICU
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse OR current compact RN licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina
  • BLS (or higher) certification
  • Professional specialty certification (preferred)
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
