Job Overview

The successful candidate will be a master's degree holder in nursing with expertise in pediatric critical care and advanced practice skills. Key responsibilities include developing and applying specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance, and research to enhance patient care.

  • Foster the advancement of specialized nursing practices within the pediatric ICU.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills by guiding clinical teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Raise the bar for quality patient care through targeted research projects and collaborations with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing, required for the Nurse Clinician position.
  • Pediatric Critical Care Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain it.
  • Prior experience in pediatric cardiac care (preferred).
  • An extensive understanding of pediatrics, coupled with strong clinical competence and effective communication skills.
  • BLS/PALS certifications are mandatory; instructor experience is a plus.
