Job Summary

Carespring is seeking a Pre-T Nurse Aide to join our team. As a Pre-T Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and staff during the nurse aide training period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer call lights and respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pass ice and water to patients between meals, and assist with hydration cart and HS snack pass.
  • Assist with making patient beds and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Support the laundry portion of the STNA job, including putting away patient's clean personal laundry and stocking clean linen closets.
  • Empty soiled utility containers in outside trash and maintain proper infection control techniques.
  • Mark personal items to prevent cross contamination and ensure patient safety.
  • Set dining room tables with linens and silverware in preparation for meal service.
  • Pass trays and drinks to residents in the dining room and deliver room trays to patients' rooms.
  • Perform one-on-one visits and companionship with patients, providing emotional support and comfort.
  • Complete any other non-direct care tasks assigned by the nurse or unit manager.
  • Assist with activities and events if no other nursing-related activities are needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, staff, and families.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
