Flexible Scheduling: Some evening and weekend shifts may be necessary. We operate multiple clinic locations.
Role Overview: Our physicians address common health issues such as respiratory infections and assist in managing chronic illnesses like diabetes and asthma. You will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care by liaising with specialists for advanced treatment options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality medical care by attentively listening to and accurately diagnosing patients' health concerns.
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations to understand patients' medical histories, health aspirations, and potential health risks.
- Administer diagnostic and therapeutic services for both acute and chronic health conditions.
- Order laboratory tests and imaging, prescribe medications, and recommend other treatment options such as physical therapy.
- Diagnose health issues through physical examinations, medical testing, and patient history analysis.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, treatment plans, diets, or other healthcare strategies to promote health or alleviate symptoms.
- May oversee nurse practitioners, with additional compensation for each direct report.
- Refer patients to specialists as necessary for further evaluation or treatment.
- Ensure timely arrival at the clinic to maintain scheduled appointment times for patients.
Educational Requirements:
- All physicians must possess a medical degree from an accredited institution. Typically, this follows the completion of a four-year undergraduate program in a science-related discipline.
Licensure:
- A valid medical license to practice in Texas is required.
