Tampa General Hospital is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Care Professional to join our Respiratory Care team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and education.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000, with opportunities for advancement based on performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

About the Role:

In this critical role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory needs and developing individualized plans to meet those needs. This will involve administering various types of therapies, educating patients and families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering oxygen therapy and therapeutic gas administration
  • Providing chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management, ventilator management, and acute care services
  • Educating patients and families about respiratory health and disease prevention
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Respiratory Therapy and a current Florida Registered or Certified license. BLS certification is also required. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification within 90 days is preferred.
