Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL A Driver to join our team at Southeast LBM Holdco LLC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely delivering our products to customers across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive local distances to deliver and pick-up goods to and from construction sites.
  • Operate forklifts to unload building materials.
  • Load, unload, stack, and stage products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Record keeping of activities, cargo deliveries, and hour logging.
  • Complete the driver vehicle inspection report and inform management of mechanical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable truck.
  • Report road incidents to management and follow accident procedures.
  • Comply with DOT, state, and local traffic laws.
  • Plan routes using GPS systems and arrive on time.
  • Provide superior customer service and inform management of customer concerns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CDL Class A driver's license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Must have a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Ability to pass all applicable health benchmarks and provide a medical certificate, unless exempted.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:

  • Frequently lift 100 pounds up to a height of 5 feet with assistance.
  • Frequently carry 100 pounds over a distance of at least 12 feet with assistance.
  • Occasionally push 100 pounds in a wheeled cart.
  • Bend, stoop, or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
  • Reach overhead to grasp materials.
  • Climb ladders.
  • Hand-eye coordination to operate powered and non-powered equipment.
  • Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
