About This Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time MRI Technologist to join our team at Wilmington Hospital, working every other weekend.

This is an exciting chance to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your technical skills and passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures as outlined in departmental protocols.
  • Manage patient data efficiently using RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems.
  • Send high-quality images to the PACS system, ensuring optimal results.
  • Gather and document comprehensive patient histories.
  • Conduct quality control checks and digitize films as needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure safe work practices, reporting any hazards or safety concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care across various age groups.

Requirements:

  • ARRT registry completion required; successful MRI Registry exam passage within 2 years of hire.
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or related field.
  • Prior experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
  • Familiarity with Siemens products advantageous.
