Key Responsibilities

  • Craft exceptional beverages using premium spirits, liqueurs, fresh fruits, herbs, and spices.
  • Welcome guests and accurately take beverage orders from patrons or servers.
  • Prepare cocktails and other bar drinks in accordance with established standards.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing bar area to facilitate efficient service.
  • Provide detailed information about wine selections, assess guest preferences, and offer suitable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop mixers and garnishes.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.
  • Manage cash transactions and adhere to all cash handling protocols.
  • Ensure the bar is stocked with necessary tools and supplies, preparing inventory requests as needed.
  • Serve food items to guests seated at the bar.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menus and promotions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including regular cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of bartending experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of drink recipes and the ability to create unique cocktails.
  • Proficient in timely drink preparation and service.
  • Extensive understanding of wines and their characteristics.
  • Commitment to personal hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively during service execution.
  • Strong desire to exceed guest expectations.
  • Effective listening skills and ability to follow directions from supervisors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest relations.
  • Friendly, personable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to remember and promote various menu items.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures, including completion of required training.

Compensation: $12.85 per hour with potential for tips.
