Job Summary:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Supervisor to join our team. As a Dental Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating patient flow, supervising dental assistants and receptionists, and ensuring the efficient operation of our dental department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain an efficient patient flow.
  • Supervise dental assistants and receptionists, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and proper sterilization methods.
  • Participate in the training of new employees and dental trainees.
  • Manage dental insurance programs and dental procedure codes.
  • Operate computer systems, including Misys, to manage patient data and encounter forms.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities, including chart audits and patient surveys.

Requirements:

  • Current DA registration from Washington State.
  • Basic courses in dental assisting and office management.
  • Minimum of three years working experience in a dental office.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Ability to communicate, read, write in English.
