They are accountable for completing assigned preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and working on projects and new installations as required.

Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Troubleshoot 480/240/120 V motor control circuits and resistive heating circuits.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
  • Install and mount electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
  • Interlock wiring as required.
  • Replace drives and amplifiers on robotic equipment and replace damaged cables.
  • Replace and wire electronic components as needed.
  • Replace heating elements on melting pots.
  • Read blueprints to determine how electrical equipment should function.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic issues on production equipment.
  • Utilize machine information to troubleshoot problems.
  • Work with production personnel to understand equipment failure and determine the best course of action to correct the issue(s).
  • Replace pumps, motors, and gear boxes.
  • Replace shot end components, goosenecks, plungers, rings as needed.
  • Repair shot blast machines as needed.
  • Pipe fitting and plumbing where required.
  • Size up new conduit runs and bend and install conduit.
  • Troubleshoot chiller and identify issues.
  • Welding and oxy/acetylene cutting as needed.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and robotic systems.
  • Read blueprints to determine how mechanical equipment should function.
  • Assist Plant Engineering Manager to determine work procedures.
