Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis Unit

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis Unit at Loyola University Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients with kidney failure, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
  • Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform dialysis procedures, and monitor patient vital signs and laboratory results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ADN).
  • A valid Illinois Board of Nursing license.
  • BLS Provider certification (accredited by the American Heart Association).
  • Experience in dialysis nursing, with a strong understanding of dialysis procedures and patient care.
