We are seeking a talented Public Finance Expert to join our team at Topche & Company in Cranford, NJ.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading tax, audit, and accounting engagements for closely held businesses and high net worth individuals, preparing or reviewing complex business and individual tax returns, completing tax research and planning, preparing financial statements, compilations, reviews, and audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license preferred
  • Ability to professionally lead accounting engagements (experienced staff) and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service and PC skills including accounting software proficiency (UltraTax or Engagement proficiency is a plus)
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, independent thinking and sound business judgment

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, complex and rewarding work, professional growth opportunity, and a friendly, comfortable, collaborative office environment.
