Are you a skilled auto body technician looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Auto Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Motocruit.

This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package, offering a salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience and production hours. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and restoring vehicles that have sustained structural damage due to accidents or other incidents.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of structural damage on vehicles to determine the scope of repairs needed.
  • Disassemble damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural damage and identify any hidden damage.
  • Repair and rebuild vehicle frames to factory specifications using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Align frames and suspension systems to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety.
  • Replace damaged body panels and parts with new or used parts, depending on the customer's preference and budget.
  • Utilize specialized welding techniques to repair damaged metal parts, including MIG, TIG, and resistance welding.
  • Utilize computerized measuring systems to ensure proper alignment and repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure clear understanding of repair needs and timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair, with an emphasis on structural repairs.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment.
  • Experience in frame and suspension alignment.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Relevant certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.
