Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and portion food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu and production sheets.
  • Follow recipes and prepare food that corresponds to menu cycles prepared by the Registered Dietitian.
  • Cook and prepare palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in batches to ensure freshness and proper temperatures.
  • Assist with demonstrating, instructing, and educating servers on food preparation, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Supervise servers with food preparation, cleaning, and storage of supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in Dietary and Long Term/Healthcare a plus.
