Job Description

In this High Voltage Lineworker Assistant role, you will support line-workers in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the installation and hookup of a single-phase transformer.
  • Checking voltage on transformers.
  • Installing and removing a service.
  • Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
  • Performing basic bucket rescue/escape.

Requirements

  • Able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License permit within 60 days of employment.
  • Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
  • Able to travel long distances on short notice.
  • Able to work for extended periods in various locations.
  • Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work overtime when requested.
