Lead General Engineering Supervisor

Position Overview: The Lead General Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assessing the work of professional division directors and mid-level program managers, ensuring effective planning and execution of tasks by subordinates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary advisor to leadership and management on matters related to environmental and occupational health safety, as well as engineering and construction initiatives.
- Serve as the senior engineering authority for the management of health and sanitation facility construction projects within the designated area.
- Supervise the identification of program needs, construction project requirements, budget estimations, and the allocation of financial resources.
Work Environment: Foster an inclusive workplace that values individual differences and adheres to equal employment practices.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Compliance with Selective Service registration is required for male applicants born after December 31, 1959.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment examination is necessary.
- Potential for a probationary period upon selection.
- Immunization against Measles and Rubella is required for individuals born after 1957, along with seasonal influenza vaccination for all personnel working in health care facilities.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure must be obtained and maintained throughout employment.
Additional Requirements:
- Background security investigation is mandatory for all new hires.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to commencement of duties.
- Must maintain medical staff clinical privileges and meet any licensure requirements.
- Successful completion of the E-Verify employment verification check is necessary.
Education and Experience:
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education relevant to the duties outlined. This includes:
- A completed 4-year degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional engineering experience under supervision.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices as evidenced by licensure or registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
Evaluation Criteria: Candidates will be assessed based on their qualifications and experience related to the position's responsibilities, including engineering and technology skills, interpersonal abilities, leadership qualities, problem-solving capabilities, and project management expertise.
