Position Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of commercial installation projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints while fostering key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to Vector Security's quality standards, policies, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Coordinate and finalize projects within the designated timeframe, scope, and budget.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee modifications to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Create comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress, maintaining thorough documentation throughout.
  • Compile necessary information and submit applications for required permits to relevant authorities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members to identify and address any challenges.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party subcontractors for the execution of multiple projects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Support the sales team as needed during pre-sale job assessments, system design, equipment configuration, and labor estimation.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant internal stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to set and manage expectations, develop detailed project plans, define project scope, and assign tasks to team members.
  • Determine resource requirements and manage availability and allocation of both internal team members and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate the ordering and logistics for necessary equipment and resources.
  • Work closely with the installation coordinator to ensure timely job setup and equipment ordering, keeping them informed of project timelines.
  • Negotiate subcontractor labor pricing for projects.
  • Delegate project tasks based on individual team members' strengths, skills, and experience levels.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance for installation/service technicians as required.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and necessary project closeout documentation.
  • Ensure successful implementation of systems, training, and project handover to clients.
Qualifications:
  • High School Equivalency
  • 5 Years of Experience in Alarm and Low Voltage Systems
  • NTS Certification
  • Experience in CVAC Installation.
  • Team management or supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with the permitting and inspection process.
  • Preferred experience with commercial fire systems and NICET certification.
