The Opportunity
This role is situated within our Diagnostics Division, where we strive to enhance medical and economic decision-making processes. Our diagnostic instruments facilitate over 10 million tests daily, delivering critical lab results to countless individuals.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the LAC Commercial team within Transfusion Medicine (TM). This position will focus on:
- Conducting in-depth financial analyses and providing business support for the TM LAC Commercial region.
- Overseeing the month-end closing procedures, including journal entry preparation, expenditure and headcount reviews, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Facilitating the LBE/Planning processes and ensuring the submission of accurate forecasts.
- Coordinating quarterly confirmations and preparing executive-level presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with various management levels across finance and operations.
- Identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
Preferred:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively with senior management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Spanish being advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with SAP/TM1 systems.
