As a Precision CNC Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the operation of CNC Lathe and Mill machinery.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and making informed decisions in accordance with these guidelines.
  • Executing complex tasks to support production, including machine setup, product manufacturing, tool changes, sterilization, material filtration, and calibration tasks as assigned.
  • Identifying and resolving equipment issues while assisting with routine maintenance.
  • Modifying equipment programs as necessary.
  • Contributing to the revision of operational and maintenance procedures.
  • Supporting qualification processes as needed.
  • Training production staff on operational procedures.

This position offers a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • CNC Machining Certification, NTMA qualification is essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Certification for operating sterilizers (if applicable).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the IOL or medical device manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with microscopes and measurement tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in an ISO or GMP manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the setup or operation of CNC machinery is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Good manual dexterity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to follow directions from supervisors and contribute to team objectives.
  • Organizational skills to manage demanding workloads.
  • Basic computer proficiency is highly desirable.

Compensation:base pay is $23/hr (additional shift differential may apply)

3rd Shift: (Fri, Sat, Sun ONLY, 12 hr shifts, incl. OT) - $23.00/hr PLUS $2.00 shift differential.
