About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at CoolSys. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers in the commercial refrigeration industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert service and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
  • Test and repair malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work history and customer interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school a plus.
  • EPA certification required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical required.
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience and supermarket stores a plus.
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair computer controls and commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude skills and ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with no assistance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
