Deputy Sheriff

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Deputy Sheriff. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing public safety services to the citizens of Gallatin County.

• Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support law enforcement efforts
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and resources
• Provide education and outreach to the community on public safety issues

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a valid Montana driver's license
• Good physical condition and ability to pass a physical fitness test
• Must be able to possess a firearm and meet all applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
