Position Details

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Explaining the sonographic procedures to patients, addressing their inquiries, and providing necessary support.
  • Applying ultrasound gel on patients' skin over the targeted areas for imaging.
  • Configuring and fine-tuning the ultrasound machine for each specific procedure, ensuring comprehensive image capture.
  • Determining which images or sonograms to record and present to the physician for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Assessing image quality and interpreting results to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing medical conditions.
  • Presenting images along with preliminary findings to the medical team.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation related to the ultrasound procedures performed.
  • Ensuring the ultrasound equipment is well-maintained and that procedure rooms are properly sanitized.
  • Supporting Radiologists during vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
