We are seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Alvest Equipment Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a variety of ground support equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical discrepancies on ground support equipment systems and subsystems.
- Inspect, repair, and rebuild/overhaul components to OEM specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance and document all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA standards.
- Minimum 1-4 years of service repair experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
- Associate degree or vocational certification/training may substitute for years of experience.
- Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Aptitude to acquire increased computer skills and knowledge of repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Competitive salary range of $30.00 - $34.00 per hour.
