Position Overview:

The Electrical Project Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of electrical systems throughout all project phases. This position ensures adherence to quality control standards and job-site safety, facilitating the successful execution of electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive collaboration among all team members, clients, and trade partners to promote project success.
  • Engage in company proposals and project discussions to enhance understanding of project objectives and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Review and interpret various construction documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring feasibility and compliance.
  • Develop and manage detailed installation schedules, including four-week look-ahead plans and pull planning initiatives.
  • Implement strategies to guarantee that all materials, equipment, and inspections align with the project timeline.
  • Create and oversee site logistics plans to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Ensure all electrical tasks are executed safely and in accordance with relevant drawings, specifications, and codes.
  • Supervise subcontractors and vendors, monitoring their readiness, progress, and quality of work.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance with schedules and risk management protocols.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements, enhancing methods, sequencing, and safety practices.
  • Develop and manage the project’s electrical energy management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading blueprints and construction documents.
  • A minimum of 5 years of construction experience with a proven track record in electrical, control, and integration systems.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook) and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 training is required.
  • Possession of an Electrical Journeyman's License is preferred but not mandatory.
