Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stenting, and other interventions.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and imaging devices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, with a physical ability to perform tasks that require 50-100lbs of force.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
