We are currently in search of skilled Assembly Operators for our Monroe, Georgia facility. Candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced production environment and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the delivery of top-notch products. Successful applicants must be available for training on various shifts and be prepared to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Available Shifts:

D shift (Monday through Friday) 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

D shift (Monday through Friday) 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follow operator instruction sheets and/or verbal directives to perform tasks effectively.
  • Utilize various indicators and gauges to verify product and component dimensions as outlined in procedures.
  • Replace simple parts and fixtures to accommodate changes in product types.
  • Conduct visual and manual inspections for defects in products or workmanship.
  • Input daily data to maintain records that support manufacturing, engineering, quality, material control, and sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to the 5S methodology.
  • Comply with work instructions and procedures to ensure products meet TS16949 and ISO14000 standards.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate any machine issues or failures to support staff and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred, particularly in electronic/mechanical assembly or high-speed equipment operation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team to meet production targets, including cycle time and scrap rates.
  • Proficient reading and writing skills to follow work orders and prepare basic production reports.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Manual dexterity to operate machinery effectively.
  • Visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions and inspect products.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring frequent bending and stooping.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Must achieve acceptable scores on pre-employment assessments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk and occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate verbally.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is conducted in a manufacturing environment. Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed shoes while performing specific tasks.
