Dialysis Technician

About the Role:
Dialysis Patient Care Technicians play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, initiating cannulation, and setting up hemodialysis machines.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
- Initiate cannulation and set up hemodialysis machines
- Provide patient observations and report any concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO or other state-approved certification required for experienced PCTs
- BLS/CPR certification required for experienced PCTs
