Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our Spanish Immersion Children's House team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in our preschool-age students.

Your Role:

  • Prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that encourages concentration, independence, and deep learning.
  • Cultivate independence and self-confidence by helping children develop practical skills, literacy, and math abilities.
  • Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development.
  • Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of respect.
  • Communicate and collaborate respectfully with parents to provide the best possible support for every child.

Requirements:

  • Native Spanish speaker.
  • Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training through our Prepared Montessorian Institute (fully-sponsored) or has previously obtained a Montessori diploma for 3-6.
  • Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a group setting such as daycare, aftercare, or preschool.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori and/or open to learning more.
