We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Iredell Memorial Hospital. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic abdominal, vascular, small parts, and pelvic sonography on patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality sonography exams on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Meet the requirements for Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Ultrasound or AMA Accredited School of Ultrasound.
- Hold Registered or Registry Eligible status by the ARDMS.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with good physical and mental fitness.
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Ultrasound or AMA Accredited School of Ultrasound.
- Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARDMS.
- Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
