Clark Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Staff Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Medical Staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Medical Staff, including conducting provider orientation and education on policy and procedures.
- Record minutes of multiple meetings, including Credentials Committee and Medical Executive Committee.
- Receive, screen, and route visitors and telephone calls, responding to inquiries and problems as appropriate.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, special events, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain Emergency Department Call schedule and files, as well as office equipment and supplies.
- Order and stock supplies, and maintain a working knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements related to Medical Staff Credentialing.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Some autonomous decision making is involved regarding medical staff credentialing process.
- Able to independently review and escalate issues involving credentialing/privileging to Director.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- High School Diploma, Required
- College Degree, Preferred
Full-time, Day shift, 7-10 hr/shift, weekdays only
