We are seeking a skilled Generator Service Technician to join our team at Power Plus, a leading provider of power solutions. As a Generator Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing generators ranging from 5kw to 4000kw.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain generator systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with generator systems
  • Repair and test generator systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Interact with customers to provide excellent service and support
  • Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
  • Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric, or military experience a plus
  • Willingness to learn and use new technologies
  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call pager rotations
  • Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required
