We are seeking a dynamic and responsible individual to join our team as a Camp Counselor at IMG Academy. As a Summer Camp Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our campers.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as a responsible adult presence in residence halls, Campus Center, and common areas for campers aged 10-18 years.
2. Act as an authority figure while providing guidance and support for campers.
3. Communicate effectively between parents, campers, coaches, and administration as needed.
4. Assist with camper residential and activity experiences.
5. Monitor students in dorms and throughout campus.
6. Ensure the well-being of campers by collaborating with Health Services Team as required.
7. Support campers with day-to-day needs.
8. Be an active participant in camper activities, including planning and execution.
9. Promote a positive, healthy environment for campers.
10. Develop and practice personal leadership skills.
11. Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
12. Assist with camper transportation to and from activity opportunities, including on and off-campus excursions.
13. Collaborate on emergency response and crisis management plans for various situations.
14. Communicate and follow up on conduct expectations for all campers.
15. Regularly communicate with Student Life Leadership about camper successes and concerns.
16. Assist with camper orientation and acclimation to campus life.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in a related field.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with PC software, including MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bilingual proficiency.
• Experience in educational, sports, or related fields.
• Previous summer camp experience.
• Proficiency with computer and web applications.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Experience in counseling, crisis response, and mediation.
• Background as a collegiate athlete.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes exceeding 40lbs.
• Manage outdoor temperatures for reasonable periods.
• Move around campus, including gym, turf, and fields.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per annum
