Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver Professional to join our team at Wayne Farms LLC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport live poultry from growers to the processing facility in a safe and secure manner.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable satisfactory driving record, as well as knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal Laws. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to read and write legibly, work unsupervised, and possess a sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.

Responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Complying with all Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Performing and documenting pre-trip inspections.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trailers as necessary.
  • Maintaining proper documentation.
  • Cleaning and washing trucks as needed.
  • Reporting truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisors.
