This role is essential in assisting the Manager and Director of Corporate Planning by providing comprehensive financial analysis for senior management. Key Responsibilities:- Financial Modeling: Develop and sustain intricate financial models while preparing internal investment presentation materials for TGNR's leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Operational Analysis: Execute thorough financial and operational evaluations of our assets, strategic plans, investments, and potential acquisitions.
- Reporting Support: Engage in monthly reporting processes, budget versus actual analysis, financing, hedging, and insurance activities.
- Data Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to collect pertinent financial data for periodic updates to short-term forecasts and model assumptions.
- Credit Facility Management: Assist with amendments and renewals of credit facilities, working alongside the Accounting department on debt covenant calculations and compliance, and preparing documentation for banking discussions.
- Business Development Support: Aid in business development efforts by preparing valuations, business plans, capital structure analyses, and evaluating tax and accounting implications of various structures.
- Dashboard Generation: Create financial and operational dashboards utilizing business intelligence tools.
- Software Integration: Contribute to the integration of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software.
- Process Improvement: Participate in enhancing current tasks and processes.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline is required.
- Exceptional skills in financial modeling, presentation, and both oral and written communication.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while prioritizing workflows.
- Preferred experience with Anaplan, Hyperion, Planful, or Quorum products (Planning Space, Enersight, etc.).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
- Prior experience in the energy sector is preferred.
