We are looking for candidates with varying levels of experience for other roles.
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a pivotal role as the leader of the healthcare team, ensuring excellence in nursing practice and patient care delivery. The RN is accountable for the care provided by the assigned nursing staff and is responsible for creating individualized care plans for all patients and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current RN license to practice in California.
2. Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience within the last 5 years.
3. BLS certification required and maintained.
4. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required and maintained.
5. Completion of a 12 Lead EKG class within one year of becoming an RN III if not already completed.
6. Proof of competency in reading and evaluating cardiac arrhythmias is required.
7. Successful completion of the ICU Ventilator Competency by the end of the probationary period is necessary.
8. Knowledge of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications, including dosages, uses, and side effects, is essential.
9. Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating effectively in English.
10. Ability to implement Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
11. Capacity to provide RN leadership that aligns with the policies, goals, objectives, mission, and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Department.
12. Must have met or exceeded standards evaluation from RRH in the past year.
