Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately locate parts for technicians and wholesale customers.
2. Process and fulfill orders efficiently.
3. Handle incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service.
4. Stay informed about special order parts and their status.
5. Assess customer needs and specify parts accurately.
6. Create and adjust purchase orders as necessary.
7. Issue purchase orders to vendors for parts procurement.
8. Record and manage warranty parts returns.
9. Utilize dealership computer systems to create special orders and notify relevant parties upon receipt.
10. Monitor special order parts tracking and ensure timely processing.
11. Reconcile invoices with requisitions to confirm the quality and quantity of received merchandise.
12. Maintain accurate records of outside purchases and parts transactions.
13. Conduct ongoing inventory assessments for wholesale parts.
14. Participate in weekly departmental meetings.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dealership parts environment is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in Mercedes-Benz or dealership counter sales is preferred.
- Proficiency in parts ordering and inventory management.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and customers.
- Familiarity with OEC knowledge / MPI or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds systems is advantageous.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus but not mandatory.
