About the Role:

This is a 25-bed swing-bed/med-surg unit that focuses on restoring patients to their highest level of independence in preparation for discharge. Our team is dedicated to delivering personalized care and serving the rural community of Kingfisher, OK.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to work a 36-hour PRN schedule with 12 hours on weekends

Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
