Job Summary:

The Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides personalized care and support services to clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as providing safe transfers and ambulation.
  • Companion/Sitter/Household Management: Provide companionship and respite services to clients, including engaging in activities, preparing meals, and performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Medication Assistance Services: Assist clients with medication management, under the supervision of a registered nurse.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
