Job Highlights:

  • Schedule: PRN as needed
  • Pay Range starts at: $28.36/hour

  • Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-rays, fluoro, portables, and OR exams. As a member of our imaging team, you will provide exceptional patient care, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatments.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and provide educational material
  2. Transport patients to and from clinical areas, verifying patient identity according to policies and procedures
  3. Prepare patients for radiology exams by positioning them for the procedure
  4. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent unnecessary exposure
  5. Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
  6. Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities
  7. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
  8. Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms
  9. Perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when a CT Technologist is not on site

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree or completion of a radiology certification program
  • No experience required

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant standing and walking
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more)
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication
  • Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
  • Frequent lifting/moving of patients
  • Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry
