Inova's Women's PACU is seeking an experienced Perioperative Liaison to fill a full-time RN position. The selected candidate will serve as a liaison for the Perioperative team, patients, and families from PreOp through recovery and discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical and emotional support resource for patients and families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide knowledgeable care coordination.
- Anticipate patient variances and revise the plan of care when needed.
- Facilitate communication amongst the multidisciplinary team, patients, and families.
Requirements:
- One year of Preoperative and PACU nursing experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree (must complete BSN within 5 years).
- RN License to practice in Virginia.
- BLS certification via American Heart Association.
