Franciscan Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess changes in the therapeutic milieu, addressing potential concerns that impact patient safety, healing, and support.
- Observe, record, and monitor behaviors related to patient suicide risk.
- Communicate patient information, condition changes, and incidents to the multidisciplinary team.
- Document patient care information and ensure timely completion of patient care records.
- Closely monitor and adhere to patient treatment plans in the delivery of care.
- De-escalate situations involving agitated or aggressive patients, preventing behavioral-based safety hazards.
- Successfully complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: 1 year of Social Services experience
- Crisis Intervention (CI) certification
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
