Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to meet the needs of our clients in the aerospace industry.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing detailed processes with associated time standards for production, as well as summary processes for quotation purposes. You will actively secure outside quotations for raw material and services on new projects, develop manufacturing procedures, methods, and standards, and oversee their implementation.

You will also consult with and advise shop supervision on problems relative to methods, tooling, and handling to eliminate production difficulties, provide technical support for the design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures and special tools including their procurement and/or manufacture, and develop testing requirements/procedures as necessary to ensure compliance to customer/design specifications.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop detailed processes with associated time standards for production and summary processes for quotation purposes
  • Actively secure outside quotations for raw material and services on new projects
  • Develop manufacturing procedures, methods, and standards and oversee their implementation
  • Consult with and advise shop supervision on problems relative to methods, tooling, and handling
