This role will focus on architecting and occasionally leading a team of technical support specialists dedicated to various technologies, particularly emerging cloud solutions as they are adopted by our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Architect and deploy advanced functionalities of Azure and Office 365 Premium, emphasizing security, governance, and compliance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Azure features and capabilities (including Security, Firewalls, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Load-Balancers).
  • Develop sophisticated PowerShell scripts for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Office 365, Azure, and on-premises resources.
  • Oversee and secure Microsoft Windows Server/Clients, including Group Policy management in a virtual/cloud setting, utilizing PowerShell scripting for VDI, Windows, and Citrix applications.
  • Configure, manage, secure, and troubleshoot Active Directory organizational units, group policies, and remote access solutions.
  • Possess a strong understanding of cloud competencies and the complexities involved in migrations and deployments to cloud environments.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain workstations and servers while developing and managing a comprehensive database of operating systems hardware and software configurations.
  • Install and upgrade software systems; identify and assist in resolving networking and operating system issues.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance to achieve peak operational levels.
  • Conduct regular hardware and software audits.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to servers, hardware, and software in a virtual context.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of new applications focusing on LAN/WAN performance, OS, PC server and client capacity, disaster recovery, and security.
  • Engage in the beta phase of cloud product and service development teams.
  • Support rapid implementations of cloud solutions and customer engagements related to cloud computing.
  • Design and execute tests and evaluations of IaaS systems.
  • Ensure cloud-based systems adhere to confidentiality, integrity, and availability standards along with any relevant compliance requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate problem-solving sessions for service interruption recovery.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Establish operational best practices for current and future cloud technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology Infrastructure; or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology Infrastructure.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Typical noise levels for an open, cubicle-style environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires periods of standing, walking, and the use of computer equipment. Additional physical demands may include talking or hearing, pushing/pulling, stooping, kneeling, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting at least 10 pounds.
