  • Detect and Apprehend Shoplifters: Utilize your excellent judgment and professionalism to detect and apprehend shoplifters in accordance with company policies and local laws/regulations.
  • Conduct Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into loss prevention matters, including reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to store staff on loss prevention and safety procedures, ensuring a high level of awareness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Management: Work closely with store management to maintain a safe and secure environment, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Prepare and submit accurate and detailed reports on investigations and loss prevention matters.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to effectively investigate and resolve loss prevention matters.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited immediate supervision is necessary for this role.
  • State or Local Certifications: State or local certifications may be required for this position, depending on the location.
